Our support team will be happy to assist you. Please consider the following before you submit a technical support request:
- Our support pages provide information and guides about using all of our products including the REST API.
- You can view and subscribe to status alerts for our services on our status page.
Tips for submitting a technical support request
Clear and detailed support requests help us help you! Once you are ready to submit a support request, please do the following:
- Provide a clear and detailed description with as much information as possible, including your account ID and the DOI name (if relevant).
- Provide steps to reproduce the issue, if applicable.
If possible, you can also include:
- Crash logs (for crashes/bugs)
- Screenshots (showing error messages)
- Sample project or source code
- Console output (containing errors or exceptions)

On the bottom right of every DataCite Fabrica and Commons page you will see the “Feedback” button. This useful tool allows you to submit a screenshot directly to our support team.
Bug reports
Encounter a bug or other system issue? Contact [email protected] for prompt support. We will work with you to assess the issue and provide solutions and workarounds.

If you have suggestions for new DataCite features or improvements to existing features, please submit your ideas via the DataCite Roadmap.
